Considering that my C. minima and C. xpurpurea have been growing well in low pH condition for the past 2 months, I decided to lower the pH of the water in my emsered tank's main section back to 4.5 again by reintroducing a bag of 'Horti' brand peat moss.
When the new plantlets of these cryptocoryes mature, I will then experiment to grow them in higher pH (i.e. pH of about 6) conditions. Lets not take any unnecessary risk now......
