C. longicauda 'Bintan' spathe opened

My C. longicauda 'Bintan' spathe finally opened this week, about 2 weeks later than my C. longicauda 'Johor'. They put out their spathes together almost 1 month ago.

The limb of C. longicauda 'Bintan' looked smaller and narrower (i.e. less round) as compared to its Johor counterpart.

The male flowers were white and the female flowers were yellow as compared to my Johor one which had yellowish male flowers and pinkish female flowers. I cut the flower after the 3rd day of spathe opening, was it too early and the male flowers had not developed pollens yet, resulting in the white colour observed?
